  • 2002-2009:  Studied Modern and Contemporary History (specializing in Eastern Europe), Political Science and Philosophy at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, the Université de Provence Aix-Marseille and the Université de Besançon
  • 2004-2009: Student research assistant at the Faculty for Eastern European History and Geography of the University of Tübingen 
  • 2009-2013: Research Assistant at the Collegium Carolinum
  • Since 2011: Doctoral candidate at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich on the subject of "Policy on history East and West during the Cold War – dealing with the National Socialist period, comparing the Czechoslovak and French approaches", funded from 2011 to 2013 by a doctoral scholarship from the Evangelisches Studienwerk
  • Since 2014: member of research staff at the Collegium Carolinum
